The duties for the Customer Service function varies and is based on the number of calls we receive and the nature of the problems that require troubleshooting and fixes. Responsibilities include answering the phone lines and to provide support to callers address concerns and help resolve service issues that are not technical. This position will also involve strategies to retain existing customers and promoting our internet services and making sure we are addressing customer needs in real time. This may include addressing and providing updates when there are weather related service interruptions and network upgrades as examples. (customer moves, requests for upgraded service to name a few) The ideal candidate will have great people skills and the ability to problem solve and communicate program packages that are geared to each area that we serve. The ideal candidate will be prepared to learn about how a network is built and the benefits of highspeed internet that is being built in rural areas that are underserved. The position requires detail oriented descriptive notes to be maintained as we transition to new software platforms to enhance the customer experience. These positions are critical to fostering long term and customer centered care. The Sales Customer support position is detailed, responsive and empathetic. Follow up with Customers and service issues both post resolution and during ticket life cycle. 


Superior listening skills and problem -solvers who can diagnose and assess needs and resolve any issues that may arise.

• Ability to use both active listening and passive listening skills to understand customer needs to be able to help resolve issues in a non-confrontational manner.

• Excellent computer skills and ability to work in a team environment

• Previous Customer Service experience in the telecommunications Industry • Post-Secondary education in related field or demonstrated internship with references and ability to use transferable skills. Proficient oral and written capacity. 

Pre- Screening and Security - All Candidates who will have access to our network and our customers will be required to successfully pass a screening process for security purposes including CPIC/driver Abstract for insurability/ COVID -19 vaccination proof.

Remuneration: 21.00-24.00
