Overseeing company accounting procedures including working with A/R and A/P staff to accurately record financial transactions as well as completing all tax filing and year end requirement in conjunction with our accountant. Coordinating with customers to ensure timely payment of all funds owed. Managing all Human Resources functions including payroll, on boarding and employee engagement. Ensuring registration and filing requirements are met for all necessary regulatory organizations (e.g. WSIB, EHT, HWIN etc.). Staying up to date with current regulatory requirements with regulatory requirements with regards to Health and Safety and Human Resources (e.g. MOE, MOL, WHMIS, etc.) as well as assisting in policy development and training implementation to comply with requirements and best practices.
Finance, Health & Safety and Human Resources experience. Knowledge of general accounting procedures and best practices. Knowledge of accounting and office computer programs including Quick Books, Microsoft Office and Easy Pay Payroll. Self-directed, organized and able to solve problems, all with a positive disposition.
